Producer: launched a web series featuring tech that’s almost-too-amazing-to-be-real — and the rebels of invention bringing it to life
I worked with a deep tech venture capital firm to launch a YouTube series spanning two seasons which garnered over 3,000 subscribers and nearly 100,000 views on the YouTube channel. I also pitched the series launch to media, getting it featured in outlets like Fortune Term Sheet, CheddarTV, Morning Brew’s Tech Brew, and more.
My responsibilities including everything from: ideating the name and purpose of the series, sourcing the content (working with the host to select the companies and schedule the tour), work with the marketing teams of the featured companies to agree on onsite b-roll and narrative, hire videographers, produce onsite, script each episode, and develop a launch plan that includes promo clips, graphics and quotes from each episode.
Publicity + social media strategy: Launching a new mobile app directory for healthcare for undocumented immigrants
I worked on the launch of the SaludPorTodos app, an easily accessible bilingual healthcare directory for underserved communities in the New York Tri-State Area. I advised on website copy, developed the social media strategy (TikTok and Instagram Reels) - including scripting the founder’s pitch and writing captions, and executed on media outreach. Results included coverage in: USA Today, 914INC by Westchester Magazine, and Inside Armonk.
Bilingual launch, startup rankings/lists: LatAm’s #1 podcast network
I worked with the founders of Sonoro on announcing their English language and bilingual content to US media, supporting with translating marketing materials, and creating a business and podcasting award ranking list to pitch them to. This included pitching celebrity spokespeople to speak to media.
Press tour + Launch press: A startup puts holograms in your home
A venture-backed startup combining the magic of 3D holographic displays with the power of generative AI, needed to get its product demoed to press while ensuring the narrative did not over-sell or under-sell its technology. We prepared brand messaging and talking points for the CEO and hosted a media tour around NYC with top tier press that led to the types of headlines and stories that drove value. Coverage included: Mashable, Mic, TechCrunch, Business Insider, Quartz, CNET.
