I am an independent communications strategist that works with teams and companies of all size, whether it’s working directly with a CEO or founder or as a thought partner to a head of marketing or communications.
Previously, I was the Director of Communications at Spark Capital, an early stage venture capital firm that has backed companies like Twitter, Oculus VR, Slack, Warby Parker and Cruise Automation. As the firm’s first in-house communications hire I helped startup founders and the firm's investment team to develop and share their points of view. I also led community initiatives with the firm's community of entrepreneurs: building infrastructure, resources and programming to empower and connect over 100 portfolio companies.
Before that, I led media relations campaigns at various PR agencies for 100+ disruptive entrepreneurs and startups including Rakuten’s Buy.com (now known as Rakuten.com), ClassPass, HowAboutWe, HelloFresh, Squarespace, Zola and Academy award-winning sci-fi film Ex Machina.
In 2018, Bustle included me on their list of Must-Follow Latinx entrepreneurs. In 2015, Adweek named me on their 30 Under 30 in the PR Industry list. I'm a graduate of Baruch College's Zicklin School of Business in NYC. I was born in Miami, Florida.
